Ambient Temperature Shipping of CST Antibodies

Ambient Temperature Shipping

Both New England Biolabs (NEB) and Cell Signaling Technology (CST) are committed to improving our business processes to minimize and, where possible, mitigate our impact on the environment. Each of our catalogues highlights a different environmental issue such as renewable energy, conservation, our use of natural resources and the crisis in the world’s fisheries.

From December 2016 we are shipping the majority of CST antibodies at room temperature. Our move to ambient temperature shipping for some of our products is an effort to reduce the amount of packaging used to ship your orders and to avoid the unnecessary use of polystyrene boxes and ice packs.

Product Stability

CST performs temperature stability testing on all of its antibodies to assess activity after storage for one week at -20ºC, at room temperature and at 37ºC. All antibodies shipped at room temperature have been found to be just as active and stable when stored at room temperature as on ice. The stability of your antibody is guaranteed.

Storage and Stability Testing

CST performs temperature stability testing on all of its antibodies to assess activity after storage for one week at -20ºC, at room temperature and at 37ºC. All antibodies shipped at room temperature have been found to be just as active and stable when stored at room temperature as on ice. The stability of your antibody is guaranteed.

Once you receive your antibody please continue to store it at -20ºC. If you place an order for multiple items, some of which require shipping on ice, your whole order will be shipped on ice.
